I have an a7s333, 2000+, GeForce2 ti, and two geil ddr333 ultra 256mb dims, the motherboard has the most updated bios 1005, but cannot overclock at all, the jumpers and dips are set to jumper free mode, but it is not stable above 135mhz fsb. the ram is set to a 1:1 ratio

well let me say this to start with - just because one person can OC without a hitch doesn't mean everyone can. OCing is a very finicky thing, and there's so many factors that can come into play - memory f*cking up, overheating the cpu/gpu/northbridge/RAM, motherboard nuances, software incompatabilities, and on and on... Basically, you can try OCing the FSB slowly but surely and put yur ram to CLK2.5 instead of CLK2.0 that might work. otherwise, what size PSU do you have ? hmmm, i would try not setting the RAM to a 1:1 ratio, as, like i said up there, your ram might be a b*tch to overclock, so if you can set each manually or something of the sort, basically i'm saying don't OC your RAM and chances are you can hit higher FSB... might also be that you need more Voltage to your CPU core - though I doubt it, but you can always try increasing by 0.05V and see if it helps... just remember, keep your temps as low as possible to ensure stability.

I'm am currently running this board. So I'll fill ya in. There is NO
way to easily affect any voltages on this board (ie. CPU, MEM, AGP, are not in bios). I'd run memtest86 (google search it's free) to test that memory for errors. Running 1:1 is the way to go as you don't want your mem to be at 166 (the only option) before you start increasing FSB. Also on Asus website I don't belive the RAM your running is even in the list of recommended for this board. The CL2.5 thing might be an option (relax the ram timings for more FSB). However you'll notice in the link for my sig that I have CL2.5 running at CL2 and FSB=146MHz (which btw is pretty much the limit on this board without some major mods). I can run stable at 149 but at 150 I can't POST, so I leave at 146. Still a 9.77% theoritical increase to all the buses. Oh and you have to affect all the buses at the same time (ie. no seperate bus lock). In short this board is pretty stable, has fairly good voltage management and OC's like old people F*CK. I know alot of things I've said are contradicated on Asus site, in short they lie like a rug on this board.
