[SOLVED] Overclocking an i5 9600k on a b355 pro4 motherboard...

Hi I’m about to use the extreme tuning utility from intel to over lock my 9600k. Does anyone know if this is safe or will even work at startup. I looked all over the bios and you can not change the voltage nor the clock speed so I’m not sure if there motherboard is going to explode or what. Please stop me if I’m about to ruin anything. Thanks. EDIT: the software does not allow for me to change the clock speed so is it impossible to change the clock speed without buying a new motherboard ???

You need a z370 or z390 to overclock. If you do get a mobo to oc, do not touch anything before reading a guide. These questions should not be asked and you have a couple of hours of researching ahead of you to get informed enough on how to oc.
