Overclocking an old system

Hello guys. Im trying to revive my old system for my youngest brother and i want to over clock it to up to 3.6 or more if possible so here are my specs

Mobo: Gigabyte EP45-UD3R
Proci: Intel Core2Quad q9400 yorkfield
Ram1: Team Xtream dark ddrii 4gb(2x2) 800Mhz, 4-4-4-12, (2.0-2.1v)
Ram2: Corsair XMS2 DHX Dual Path 4gb(2x2) 800MHz, 5-5-5-15, 1.8v
Video card: Gainward Gtx 460 se
PowerSupply: Seasonic 460watts Xseries fanless 80+ gold
EDIT: forgot to add i have an after market air cooler

in my experience with an old computer especially with your specs do not and i repeat DO NOT overclock it without watercooling. not enough power either

would an after market cpu air cooler be enough?
