Overclocking and cooling ?'s

will a case with 7 fans in it work for an i7 overclock? Some guy said it won't and I am seeing to put in a 120 mm fan. Will it still work? I don't want the temperature going above 35 Celsius.

Case fans matter less then the actual CPU cooler. What Cooler and i7 do you have?

35c is very low. And agreed about the cpu cooler being far more important. For the most part if you built a pc outside of the case it will basically run as cool as it can get. The case mostly is to keep dust out and noise down. So as long as it has enough air flow that's as good as it will get.

2 exhaust + 2 intake gets the job done but more is better.

You need a better CPU cooler for overclocking. If you need recommendations, give CPU name + budget.

That's the temperature PC starts working at. CPU is fine till 75c for daily usage, 85c for stress test and at 95-100c it throttles (underclocks) to prevent damage.

If you insist at keeping it below 35c with overclock, you would need water cooling + water chilling. Like this guy:
