Hey I'm looking to overclock my processor but I'm not sure how and I know that it can overheat if I do and this one already keeps hot. If someone could tell me how to OC and how to better cool the cpu that'd be great.

EDIT: It's a laptop

Any help is appreciated

I doubt the CPU in your laptop has an unlocked multiplier, but even if it does, overclocking it is a very bad idea. The thermals in a laptop are very finely balanced, and it will not be able to deal with all the extra heat that overclocking produces. This will result in thermal throttling - reducing the clock speed (and therefore the performance) of the components in the laptop, and could perhaps damage the components, reducing their lifespan.
You should buy an aftermarket CPU cooler to keep your temps down while overclocking. If you are on a budget, a Coolermaster hyper 212 evo is a good choice, but a corsair h100i or noctua dh-15 would be an even better choice.
To OC, you need to go into the BIOS, and then play around with the CPU voltage and multiplier. You can check out the stickies in the forum for more info.
