I hope that you are using only multiplier to overclock. messing with BCLK is not recommended as it affects many things in your system including RAM.
the memory controller is on CPU. so it adds additional load to run the memory on higher clocks. it is CPU, not the memory.
go back to normal speeds (or around 4GHz) and you can get memory to 2.4Ghz (probably even faster).

😉 BCLK is at 100 default. 4.7ghz @ 1.29v
than go to 4.5GHz and find the highest CPU clocks with memory clocked at 2400.
Though the i5 (or i7) is not really sensitive to memory speed. the caching algorithms do their job very well.
As a side note, performance deference between 4.5 or 4.7 is so small, that it's not worth it except "i have this big e-pin"
