Overclocking athalon MP 1900

Not sure what a PK golden socket is... You're not thinkin' about those old "gold fingers" devices they used to overclock old Slot-A Athlons are you?

Yeah thats it, why is there something wrong w/them?
I'm just hopin to find a way to overclock these processors w/out a whole new board ( just got this 1), Do you know where I can get one?

Actually they're not quite the same the PK is for socket processors, but the same idea

According to this article:

http://techreport.com/reviews/2001q1/tracetape/

You used to be able to get trace tape to OC Socket A CPUs here:

http://www.plycon.com/index.html

I couldn't find it on their site however or anywhere else...

plycon also used the carry the golden socket but I can no longer find that either

This cached article is the only thing I could find:

http://72.14.207.104/search?q=cache:ElKAdeKUAyYJ:www.ocprices.com/index.php%3Frev_id%3D49%26action%3Dreviews%26cat_id%3D63+golden%2Bsocket&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=1

Even if you could find the tape or the socket I do not know if it would be worth it given all the trouble you have to go thru.
