Question overclocking corsair vengence ram

i have a 8gb kit of 2133mhz rated ram which i tried overclocking. i first tried 2400mhz and left voltage and timings on auto and the system booted but when i tried 2666mhz i couldnt get the system to boot up. is there anything else i can do or is this the max my ram can achieve.

My specs
B450m DS3H gigabyte
Ryzen 5 2600
corsair vengence 8gb (2x4gb) 2133mhz
Rx 480
cosrsair vs series 550w

Have you tried increasing DRAM voltage? I wouldn't go far above 1.4v dram voltage. Also, make sure ram is cool.

I suggest you look for a tutorial online,

no i left voltage on auto.. is there any risk of damaging the ram if i proceed.the ram is stock at 1.2v

You will need to increase the voltage from auto to get far.

There is a risk of damaging ram when overclocking.

You must keep voltages and temperatures in check and make sure ram is 100% stable to ensure everything works properly.

wow. overclcoked to 2666mhz with no problems by increasing the voltage to 1.35v and timings are 16.18.18.36
