They're probably relatively similar in performance, the 2100 looks newer, quieter and is LP.

NOTE: compare the results of Scytche mugen 2 on those reviews and you will see which cooler is better between the two you mentioned.

The Scythe SCBSK-2100 is worst than mugen 2 and the SCKTT-1000 is better.

I was wrong. Guess the heatsink is too thin on the 2100.

Thanks, and now that I looked the fan would blow the heat to the top of my case out the top so that's better than straight up.
