Hello guys,
i have an AMD Athlon x4 750K 3.4Ghz Quad Core Processor.
so i just installed a Zalman PX5 Cooler witch was 25$ so its pretty decent for OC
i bought some cooler master thermal paste for another 5 dollors.
Put it on all good and i just got the heatsink screwed down and in place.
So i just did a prime 95 stress test
FROM BOOT its already 8C cooler 30C compared to 38C
when i tested prime 95 on this new cooler it NEVER went past 40C witch is really good.
Before it went to 50C tops with the stock cooler. this new one Does a good job of keeping it low under High demand.
So i wanted to OC it to like 4Ghz Safely without draining too much life from it..
Im planning on Playing bf4 mostly
Specs,
AMD Athlon x4 750k 3.4Ghz Quad (It runs at 3.7Ghz Under load now.)
EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 SC 2GB GDDR5
4GB DDR3 1600Mhz Corsair Vengence (YES I KNOW ILL GET STUTTERING UPGRADING LATER)
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
How would i OC to a stable 4Ghz ?
BTW my max temp is 70C so its 30C under that 😀 Under prime 95 test
Manny Thanks.
Regards,
Prophet
