Overclocking Data Buses..

So basically, I am in high school learning about basically EVERYTHING about a CPU at the moment, I OC my computer sometimes just to see how it performs and stuff, but one thing I wasnt sure to do is overclock my FSB on my AMD chip.. theres an option for it, but what would be a good amount of Mhz to go up from, Along with OC my chip, id like to OC my Buses for enhanced system wide performance, are the buses on the board or in the processor, I have good fans and a nice cool room in case it might be the motherboard, and I got watercooling if its in the chip..

As Im not sure how to play it safe as long as overclocking buses go, could I have some tips, do's and donts?? Thanks!

PS you can ignore the title - it's the same whatever the system (that allows for FSB manipulation)
