Overclocking EVGA 1070 SC

So I just got done overclocking my new 4690k, managed 4.5gz stable on 1.28v. Now I'm looking to oc my EVGA 1070 SC graphics card. I tried before but got crashes at +75 to core clock and +300 to memory, however I didn't really figure out a stable clock for the memory as I tried to isolate the memory and core clock. This seems pretty low, although the card is already factory overclocked I think. Does overclocking graphics cards work similar to CPUs where raising the voltage gets you stable or is a voltage adjustment not recommended?

Raising the voltage can help. If you haven't yet, increase the power limit to 120% before touching voltage.
