Need help with gaming rig & performance tuning!!! OC'd FX6300
Sorry, my original post didn't not show up so here we go again.....
My question is this..... 1st off I'm green in the PC performance world. I am a certified auto technician not PC guru so bear that in mind. I recently built a machine for my 6yr old prodigy gamer daughter & want the rig even faster.
Here's the build ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0, AMD FX6300, G Skill X 16GB, corsair RM750, 1x Radeon R9 270 OC Ver., corsair H80i, 6x corsair SPL 2700rpm fans, Kingston hyper X 3k 240gb SSD, kingston V300 120 GB(OS Win7), Liteon 32x optical burner. DVD, NZXT sentry 3 fan controller, NZXT source 220 case w/ source 210 windowed side panel.
The list is all by memory so 4give me if things aren't 100% accurate as far as description goes. Anyway, we are avid Modded Minecraft players & want the game to move as fast as possible. Don't get me wrong the way we have it now it runs great but, I am always looking for performance upgrades from my performance automotive background. I currently have my FX6300 chip OC'd @ 4.7GHz on the H2O cooler I'm running right now & the machine flys & is stable as can be under load @ like 50-55C degrees & like 30C degrees @ idle. I want the rig to run games faster w/ my set up I would love some ideas for improvements. The OC is done manually thru bios & not MOBO software/program ie: boost or turbo.
