Alright Guyz
So i have been trying to overclock my Fx 8320 abd i finally got it to run at 4.4 (not sure if stable yet)

Alright so i ran prime 95 small ftt for 10 mins at 100% and i reached 70c socket and 57 core with aftermarket cpu cooler and room temp of 20 c. Now im running my prime95 ( 6 hours )
So my question is
Are my settings safe atm:

-Ai Overclock Tuner - ManualAMD -Turbo CORE Technology - Disabled
-Cpu ratio 22.0 (4400mhz)
-DRAM 1600Mhz @ 1.5v
-CPU/NB Frequency - 2200Mhz
-HT Link Speed - 2400Mhz
-CPU & NB Voltage - Manual Mode
CPU/NB Manual Voltage - Set at
1 275v
Cpu manual voltage 1.475v

-C6 State - Disabled
-HPC Mode - Enabled
-Amp Master Mode - Disabled

So is this safe or is the manual voltage too high all power saving settings are disabled atm

Okay 70 c is not NICE .... you need to stay under 65 C ... and when u are in prime you need to do Blend Test ... it run hotter than anothers but it see if ram/cpu usage is stable and no core fails ..

970 chipset is not as good 990 ...... did u buy that recently

i know .. and the prime 95 just set the cpu on fire like no program can use cpu like that not even rendering .... what u doing that for is just for like 15 min max all you want to see if core fails .. ram/cpu usage stable .. mediam max temp ..

after you end .. enable cool n quit .. that feature will change cpu from 4.4 to lower usage like browsing or just idle ... to save power .. and to lower the voltage to the cpu

My mobo doesnt allow me to access My power saving options (cool n quiet...) when i have the voltage options set on manual so im always running at full clockspeed except when running stock

Same as the other guy, Im running same setup as you, running 4.6ghz. 249 FSB, 18.5 multiplier, 1.3625 volts. Super cool, always under 50c on "normal" ventures. I ran intel burn test 10 times straight, never went over 53c.

Give that a try 😀
