I've got a EVGA GTX 1080 Superclocked 2 and I love this card, I wanted to overclock to crank some more power out of this card but every time I load up my overclocked profile it gives me less frames. My power management mode both on windows and NVIDIA control panel is on high performance and v-sync is off. I have a custom fan curve so the GPU is cooler when I load my profile but the utilization is much worse ~50% and it stays at 53 degrees Celsius. My power limit is at 120%, Temp limit at 92 degrees, Core Clock is at +100mhz, Memory Clock is at +300mhz.
I have a i7 7700k so i doubt its a cpu bottleneck.

For Comparison:

Rainbow six siege: with overclock: ~150fps
without overclock: ~200+fps

GTA V : with overclock: ~70fps
without overclock: ~90fps
