Overclocking GPU. Resets to default when pc restarted,

Pretty much what the title says. I am overclocking my GTX970 for the first time and it overclocks well compared to other benchmarks I have seen. The problem is, when I turn off or restart the computer the card defaults to it's pre-OC clock speeds. Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening?

I am using EVGA's Precision X16 to overclock the Gigabyte G1 Gaming I have in my PC.

I have read that sometimes if you run the program as administrator, the modified settings would be applied. Give that a shot.

Make sure you have PrecisionX set to startup with Windows (the prog needs to be running to enable your OC)

That's a safety measure in case your GPU becomes very very much stable. But there is an option in MSI Afterburner which can apply your OC settings automatically on every startup.
