So I have tried overclocking my 6970 hd. I know it's more than decade old but it was the only one that I can afford at this time cause my old GTX 960 4GB went bad.
Default clock:
880 and 1375
Power limit : 0%
Overclocked:
915 and 1400
Power limit: +20%

PC specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
A520 d3sh motherboard
120GB SSD x2
DDR4 8GB 3200 RAM
120MM fans x2
650 watts PSU

Can someone plz help me figure this out.
I wanna overclock to get some more fps on Valorant and csgo.
One more thing,,, the gpu and CPU are not thermal throttling.
PC is just going off. Then I have to like press the power button again to turn it on.
In system logs it just says the system shutdown at certain time was unexpected and thats it. No hardware failure or anything.

guess you need PSU with higher wattage, 6970hd can draw up lots of watts, pc turning off means over current protection kicks in
I disconnected my fans and now it fine. Not turning off on its own. Also my power button was shorted all the time. Maybe this could also have been the problem. So now fans are off and I now power on my PC with a screwdriver and it doesn't overheats and works fine now. Thx for the help.
