Question Overclocking gpu

Hey everyone quick question, is it worth overclocking your gpu? I currently have a Msi rtx 2080 gaming x trio card. Whats everyones thoughts on over clocking that and what program to use. I have the program msi after burner.

Everybody has that choice but it comes with a risk to the hardware and I have never felt the need for a few fps.

I find Nvidias GPU Boost more or less get the most of the performance out of the card so I never really bothered.
