Overclocking GTX 780 STRIX 6GB

I'm new to overclocking and would like to safely OC my GTX 780 STRIX 6GB. It is quite an outdated GPU and I think it bottlenecks my CPU which is a Intel i7 4790 (non-K). I have downloaded ASUS GPU TweakII, but haven't got the faintest idea on how to safely OC. I do plan on buying a newer GPU sometime in the future, but for the time being I'd like to be able to get an FPS boost in newer games. I only play games at 1920x1080 so not too bothered about 1440p or 2160p as I know my GPU isn't capable of playing games at a higher resolution. If anyone could kindly help by giving me some guidance it would be much appreciated.
