Overclocking GTX 950 2GB problems,crashes,red dots

Whenever i overclock my GTX 950 ,i get some red spots on monitor,and it just closes my game.Idk if i have done anything wrong,but maybe you can give me advice. My pc is GTX 950 i5 2400 3.1 ghz 8 gb ddr3 1333 mhz Cooler master gx 600W lite

You definitely haven't damaged it. The volts can't keep up with the speed. Overclockability is based on luck and results vary to for individuals. For example, I only run my GTX950 at 1505Mz without artefacts. Some may be better some may be worse.

I dont recommend adjusting the voltage of that card. Instead just find a stable OC within the default voltage range.


They are called 'Artefacts', and occur when your GPU OC isn't stable enough. Try increasing the voltage or lowering the clock until no artefacts or crashes are present.
 
Does that mean my graphics card isn't damaged ? I watched a guy on youtube,he overclocks it without any problems .When i just touch the voltage,red spots appear,and he overclocked it far more than i could.

+100 core clock
+240 memory clock is all i could tweak.i still run the gygabite OC edition (with 2 fans) .
But okay,this is the most stable clock for me and i will use it.Thanks for your help.
