Hello!

I just attempted to OC my GPU but I am not sure if I have competed everything correctly. I am using a 3gb GTX780 with just regular air cooling.

I follwed all the steps here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1393791/official-nvidia-gtx-780-owners-club
and using MSI Afterburner the sttings on the program are as follows;
Core Voltage - 1213mV
Power Limit - 100%
Temp Limit - 80degrees(prioritized)
Core Clock - +300
Memory Clock - +150
Fan Speed - 75%

Can anybody help me out? I ran Unigine Heaven at max settings and was around 56FPS with no graphical issues and the temperature seemed to max out around 78-80. When running GPU-Z I see that the default and current numbers are increased by my settings.

Have I done this correctly? If so, are my settings too high or too low? Thanks for all the help!

Try to save those settings, and reset your settings to default. Run the test again and see the difference of the default and the OC settings, FPS wise.
I wouldn't personally overclock the 780 TI, unless i'm playing greater than 1080p.
But, if the FPS increases by a good amount, and there are no artifacts on the screen, and your PC doesn't crash, then it's fine.

It's not the TI only the regular 780. The only reason I am trying to OC it is that I am going to be upgrading my 1080p to a 1440p within a few days.

Just sent you a pm with some picks of the inside of my rig. If that helps at all let me know. If not, where exactly can I find the pc specs.

Just has the 1 fan if I remember correctly.(On the gpu) On that link were they at +200 at both core clock AND memory? I see the 200 for core but it says 6GHz to 7GHz? Doesn't that mean they OC the card by 1000mhz?

Oh yeah. Its late here - looking at wrong figures.

I've got 2 x Asus GTX670s. I think all the custom cooler gpus have 2 fans.

So maybe try 200 on the gpu at 1.2 and 1000 on the memory.

The GTX770s are just 680's/670's with 7000 memory and high gpu clock.

I should play with mine to see what they'll do too.
