Hello All,

I have this PC from Overclockers whoch they OC'ed to 3.2GHZ.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 LGA775 'Yorkfield' 2.66GHz
- Foxconn ELA Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
- Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel
- LG GH22NS30 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black)
- Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM
- Akasa AK-967 Nero Direct Contact Heatpipe CPU Cooler
- Corsair TX 650W ATX SLi Compliant Power Supply

Yesterday it went went back to 2.66. I tried taking it back up to 3.2 but if I take it above 2.66, my PC will try to boot twice in two short surges, then on the 3rd attempt it will bot but will have reverted back to 2.66GHz. I tried taking the CMOS out but it didn't do anything.

Any help I will be grateful!

You probably will not make it. Most with Q8200's are doing good to reach 3.0 GHz with stability - meaning a 6 or 8 hour Prime95 test run.

And if you have a problem, you should start your own thread.
