Is it possible to have better temperatures with higher voltage on CPU when running at the same MHz?
I overclocked an 2500k on a Gygabyte z68a-d3 motherboard to 4.5 ghz but i couldn't stabilize it.
Now i droped it to 4.2 ghz and tried to lower down the Vcore as much as possible because this is what people recomend.
Strangely, i noticed that when i have the CPU VCore on 1.28V(the lowest it can get without blue screens) the CPU runs
at ~75 degrees when i stress test it with Prime95, but if i set it on 1.34V it runs at ~67 degrees. Is this normal?

That is strange as hell but normally lower voltage means less heat but the voltage might not be stable so it might be going back to auto so check that
