Overclocking i5 3570K?

I heard on a few other forums that they can only last 3-5 years, is this true and how can I make this life span longer? Thanks.

That all depends besides in three to five years most people will want to upgrade their cpu.

If you keep it cool and don't overvolt the crap out of it, you should be fine for at least the normal lifespan of a CPU.
