I'd like to start off saying I am brand new to overclocking. I have been reading lots on this cpu, and generally people have been able to get to 4.5ghz with a vcore of 1.22, although I understand every cpu is different. I have my ram at it's rated speed of 1600, and the bclk set to 100. I then set my offset voltage to .055. The Best overclock I have been able to stabilize with these settings is 4.4ghz with a vcore of 1.36, although I have the cooling to support this high voltage(stabilizes at 37c), I'd prefer not to burn my cpu out in a year. I feel like I must be doing something wrong with a voltage this high I would think my cpu would easily clock to 5.0 ghz. The voltage only goes this high though while under load. if it's not under load it rests back down to 1.17.

Even 0.1GHz can make the difference between a stable or unstable overclock. That may just be the limit of your CPU. For example, my old gtx 660 card, I saw people getting a +100mhz on their core clock, but even with the exact same card, I couldn't push past 65mhz.
