Hi all,

I will be attempting this once I've got the new rig assembled & installed. I'll be overclocking the GTX780 CUII slightly but this won't be of much use unless I get the CPU running too.

Was wondering if anyone had tried with the Haswell processor yet... 3.4GHz is standard, assume 4.4 should be within realms of stability?

Machine will include:

i5 4670K
Corsair Hydro Series H60 cooler (to keep the quadruplets frosty)
ASUS Maximus VI Gene (nice OC'ing options)
ASUS GTX780 CUII OC
600W Corsair Builder Series

Overclocking isn't recommended by Intel. That said, it is possible to overclock but can prove to be more difficult. Haswell carries an onboard voltage regulator which negates a lot of the overclocking that Ivy Bridge is capable of. That said, you can still attain modest overclocks by countering the voltage regulator in your mobo settings by playing with vCore.
