Overclocking i5 6400

Is the Intel i5 6400 6th generation overclock-able? I would like to know because I'm tempted to buy a pre-built PC with it. But the fact that it is 2.7GHz bothers me. So, I was wondering if it's safe enough to overclock it (if it's possible) to 3.0Ghz.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thank you!

Solution
The chip is the lowest binned i5 next to the mobile variants, meaning it has less OC potential compared to say a 6600k.
There used to be a roundabout way to OC non-k chips, but it never materialised in very big gains for 6400s, and those that did went through heaps of chips before they got any result, and even then some fried theirs due to the poor ASIC quality.
Not worth it even if you could.

As said above, there was a sort of hacky way of overclocking non-k CPUs a while back, apparently can still be done with the right mobo/BIOS. However, a pre-built PC will probably come with a locked down BIOS preventing any overclocking anyway. Also, the 6400 will already turbo boost past 3 GHz, no overclocking required...
