Hello people on the internet, i need you! I don't know how to overclock decently and i need your help and tips, so this is what i did...
My specs:
Case: phanteks p400 eclipse
Mobo: ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING
CPU: i5-7600K
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB DDR4 16GTZR Kit 3000 CL15 (2x8GB)
GPU: ASUS GEFORCE STRIX GTX 1060 6G GAMING
PSU: CORSAIR RM550X
CPU cooler: Kraken X52
Storage: SSD samsung evo 500GB
2x 1TB hitachi something 😵
This is my PC:

I got the case its basic fans 1 in top and 1 in back. The 2 basic fans from the kraken x52 in push configuration in the front of the case with the radiator.
for every bench i did it 5 times and took the avg.
I followed this guide: https://rog.asus.com/articles/guides/guide-overclocking-core-i7-6700k-on-the-maximus-viii-extreme/
I didn't use the rog stress test but i used prime 95 (other programs used are CAM for my kraken x52 pump and 2 fans, AI suite 3 for my back and top chassis fan, CPU-Z, cinebench, valley and CPUID HWMonitor.)
Default CPU settings :
Cinebench CPU : 620
cinebench openGL: 125.50 fps
Valley: score 2793, fps: min32,3 max 131.7 avg 66,8
Stress temp after 1h: 60°C
OC: 4,6Ghz @ 1.370v :
Cinebench CPU: 684
cinebench openGL: 131,50 (didn't expect a change lol)
Valley: score 2803 fps: min 33,2 max 129,5 avg 67 (didn't expect a big change either, thought it was nice to include)

I started lowering the voltage and after some time i found myself that my system stays stable after 1h @1.285V & package 70°C (could possible get lower but i took jumps of 0.010V and 1.275 got me an error) So now i keep it at 1.285V in adaptive mode.

Everything i did is all from a simple stupid asus guide. I just have the feeling i could get more out of my pc and there is still alot to learn about overclocking so thats why i am here posting, to listen to you guys and do what you tell me. Also, if you tell something that i have to do or should do, explain what it does, what it means and why. So i can learn about overclocking
After i pumped up my CPU i will overclock my GPU but thats just fucking with the sliders in msk afterburner and doing some stress tests (tips are also welcome for this though).
So now euhhh you can tell me what to change to try make my computer better. I'll listen and try it out
