I have been experimenting with overclocking my i5 8600k with Asus prime z370-P
i tried at 4.8ghz with 1.325v and after playing Rust for a few hours i noticed a bottleneck with the GPU. the fps went down to 60-80 when it usually is 100-160.
so ive changed the voltage to 1.335 but i am wondering may this damage my CPU?
My idea was that i was hoping for better stability with a little more voltage.
i can get it also to 5 ghz but then with 1.410 v and ive read that it is too much voltage to be safe.
Ofc i have stress tested with Prime95 for 1-2 hours and no problem.
My temps goes to max 71 when playing demanding games (like Rust).
