Solution H H HopelessNoob Jul 10, 2013 smexyghost : HopelessNoob : smexyghost : HopelessNoob : i have my 3570k clocked to 4.2ghz and it's been cool with a 212 but really depends on your room temp 25 degrees i live in holland but my room is hot how hot is your room? no in holland it is like 15 but my room is 25 that's not hot at all a 212 should be more than sufficient to keep the 4770k cool even when it's clocked at 4.2 ghz (unless you're stress testing)

You should really do this after you overclock, otherwise you may experience issues down the road in games because of overclock instabilities. Upvote 0 Downvote
