Since I'll be overclocking first time in my life, i'm wondering if those settings would work ok:

First build:
i7 920 C0
Asus P6T SE (cheapest P6T model but overclocks the same as more expensive models)
Mushkin PC3-12800 "Essential" KIT 6144 MB 1600 mhz 8-8-24
Scythe Mugen 2
Cooler Master RC-690 casing

Settings:

BLCK Frequency: 175
DRAM Frequency: DDR3 - 1443
Speedstep off
Turbo mode off
1.224 voltage
Everything else Auto

Would this settings work? I also heard something about RAM multiplier. Is this setting important? If it is, where in BIOS will I find it and to how much should I set it?

Please help me with this one since this will be my first time overclocking, thanks!

Note: I'm getting this computer next week and i'm getting prepared so I'll have some idea.

How does that look?
I first set it Vcore to 1.35 and then I just try if system boots or do I also have to run Prime 95 for like 5 minutes?

If it is ok I lower it to like 1.34 and try again?

Ok what about this?
BLCK Frequency: 166
DRAM Frequency: DDR3 - 1443
Speedstep off
Turbo mode on
Voltage on Auto (puts it to 1.35) / If I want i'll try to find lowest possible voltage
Everything else Auto

= 3486 mhz

If I leave everything else on auto, does that mean that I change only things that need overclock and leave everything else as it is when I press manual?
