[SOLVED] Overclocking i7 9700k

Can anyone give me step by step to overclock my i7 9700k cpu my motherboard is asus rog strix b360-h gaming

The i7 9700 gets 3.0ghz and the i7 9700k gets 3.6ghz with the capability to get maybe 4.9ghz why wouldn't I want to try get that? Isn't that what people buy the K versions 🤔

oc is like when you want to run it at 5ghz

Ya I want to run it at 5ghz, and your saying my motherboard isn't able to do it, so I have to buy a new motherboard is it?

The 9700K's max single core turbo is 4.9 GHz....; best all-core loadings should hit 4.6 GHz, if cooling is adequate and there are no power limitations imposed. (Perhaps Intel's XTU will at least allow overruling the turbo-boost duration limit and power/TDP limits even with a B360 so you can at least possibly see sustained all-core 4.6 GHz...which is PLENTY for most mortals, save for bragging rights, sounding impressive, etc.,perhaps)
