Overclocking Intel core 2 duo for laptop

i have a hp pavilion dv6 with intel core 2 duo processor (e4500, probably cuz its speed is 2.2 ghz). i want to overclock it to ATLEAST 2.5- 2.6 ghz. I use a cooling pad for my laptop.

That's not going to happen, locked BIOS.

overclocking+laptop does not equal a good mix; even with a cooling pad.

Most manufacturers like HP, Dell, etc.,have custom BIOS and the CPU multiplier is locked. 'Greyed' out and the user cannot change/modify this. As a result overclocking is not possible. Besides, OC will create an internal heat problem that a cooling pad will not be able to handle.

There are some backdoor methods of OC but they are risky; not recommended.
