How far can you overclock the Leadtek Winfast GF2 Ti from the original. In the review they said they could get the core to 250 and the memory to 500 without any extra cooling. I can't even get the core up 5Mhz before the screen goes all funny, and the chips runs at 44C. How do they do that, does anyone know how I can get it higher?

First you will have to have some RAMsinks on your video RAM.
Then remove the heatsink and clean both the chip and heatsink with some isoproyl alcohol and cloth. Then apply a little drop of Arctic Silver on the chip and spread it to a thin layer, finally put the heatsink back on it.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground 😱 .

I'm running
Athlon XP 1800
Soyo Dragon Plus mobo
256 MB DDR
30GB+5GB Seagate HD
Leadtek WinFast GF2 Ti
Windows XP Pro

I took the crappy fan that came with the winfast and put a
heatsink from a boxed athlon xp 1600, put a bigger fan on it, used some arctic silver and added memory heatsinks. I was able to overclock to a stable 280 gpu/ 484 mem, ran 3Dmark 2001 with a score of 5104 (3dmark2001 default settings). This thing runs cold, but I still can't get it up to 290/500 like in the review without lockups and reboots. I guess watercooling is the only option..ha ha
