overclocking locked skylakes

i am looking to buy a skylake 1-5 something
to go in a asus z-170a
can i overclock the cpu or do i have to have a
asrock z107 extreme 4 motherboard
i no i saw a annoucement from toms saying all skylakes can be overclocked
maybe a link to the article and of course your opinions

For now if you want to overclock I would stick with a k version CPU. Rumors of Intel blocking that feature seem to be coming true, so if you want to overclock get an i5-6600k or i7-6700k. You will also need a motherboard for overclocking, so anyone that has the z170 chip set will work.
