Overclocking memery

According to my hardware widget, i'm using 1.2gb of my 8gb of RAM. how do i get full use of all 8gb? and how do i overclock my RAM?

errr, well, you could try running lots and lots of memory hungry applications????
Your system will only ever use as much RAM as the applications you are running need, up to a max of approx 3Gb in 32 bit operating systems and a thoretical several thousand gigabytes in 64 bit operating systems.

For overclocking, the stickies give a pretty good guide....
