Overclocking memory (from 1600mhz to 2133mhz)

Memory: G.Skill RipjawX 4GB CL9 1600mhz
Processor: AMD A10-6800k
Mobo: Gigabyte FM2 F2A75M-D3H

I learned that the graphics from an apu heavily rely on the speed of the ram, so i decided to oc my ram to 1866 mhz, can i still oc it to 2133? i also read some ram overclocking saying something like 7-7-7-10 <-what is that all about?

2133 might be possible if you relax the timings

just try on it .. if fail you must know where the jumper Clear CMOS , if damage is own risk
OC ram high clock need relax timming
little OC RAM under 1866 maybe can get tighten timming

tried 11-11-11-26 timing at 2133... got BSOD... do i need to tweak the voltage too? or just the timings?

max Voltage RAM is 1.65 but very hot for it and dangerous in longtime using, and i think 1866 is enough

Max voltage on most ram is 1.75v on air and more with LN2 and extreme cooling. I've pushed my Triddents to DDR3 3000 with 1.7v but i would not recommend that with low end sticks. Keep the voltage at 1.65v

Ram speeds because of the timing have equivalent speeds at 2800 and 800 mhz. I recommend not even overclocking it, DDR3 speed is DDR3 speed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWgzA2C61z4
