I got 2 sticks of Adata Gammix D10 2666mhz 8Gb each and as stated on its product info, able to use xmp to OC to 3000mhz.

How do I do this thru bios? I'm not familiar with the process

Save and exit the bios, let the PC reboot and then go back into the bios and see what speed the RAM is running at. 3000mhz may also be reported as 1500mhz. If ok then reboot into Windows, you can check the RAM speed under task manage but there is nothing else to do.

If its not running at 3000mhz you may have to set it manually.

I would avoid changing the voltage. If 3000mhz isn't stable you can try increasing the timings but I wouldn't worry about that at the moment.

2666Mhz. is the rated speed for that module he stated he had above , there is no XMP profile for 3000Mhz. for it. The site states: XPG GAMMIX D10 DDR4 memory modules are designed for gamers and PC enthusiasts with support for new Intel X299 plus SPD 2666MHz implementation, with factory speeds up to 3000MHz out the box.

It doesn't mean the 2666Mhz. rated modules you have will run at or overclock to 3000Mhz. It means they have modules that they sell out of the box rated at 3000Mhz.
