overclocking memory

what is the best overclocking memory that is out there for under $220

and not just becuase i have it, its just amazing!
and by the way, what ram is over $220?

OCZ doesn't make 2GB Dual Channel Platinum Rev 2 (2 x 1GB). They only make Platinum Rev2 in 1GB Dual Channel (2 x 512mb)

However, OCZ does make 2GB DDR400 Dual Channel Platinum (2x1GB) memory with timings 2-3-2-5

hey your right! and thats exactly the ram i have, and i read the timings on my sticks and they did say 2-3-2-5. so why when i run pc-wizard does it say my timings are 2.5-3-3-5 ?

Have you manually configured the timings in your BIOS? If not, then that is probably what's wrong with the timings. Go into your BIOS and manually configure them.

The timing 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 5 is for INTEL based MOBOs i thing... but i am not sure...

A friend has bought the OCZ Gold Edition 2x512 @ 667 and he is very happy with the overclocking capabilities....

i think im running another thread called 'ram help!' somewhere and im asking the same thing...

ive downloaded 6.70 chipset driver, now im trying to download the 1016 bios for the mobo (cause i heard those were the latest) , but i cant seam to find where to download it from, do you know from where i can download it from ? also, is the 1016 bios for the asus a8n-sli deluxe the same for the asus a8n-sli premium? thanks.

ive downloaded and updated the bios, not the only problem left is the sound, nothing is detected, working on it....
