I managed to set up a rig with a ddr2@667 Mhz and a ddr2@800 Mhz. They both are running in dual channel at 667Mhz. Would it be wise to overclock them to 800 Mhz ? And what would be the method ?
The 667Mhz one is unbranded . If the rams might fry then forget overclocking. All I want to know is whether my RAM's will bottleneck my CPU ? (core 2 duo 2.93 with FSB 1066 Mhz)
no they wont bottleneck your system. Your 1066 FSB actually runs at a 266 frequency on your rams. So your rams are 333mhz and will be fine.

no, your ddr667 dims will prob struggle at 800 mhz. what brand are they, and model number? Some dims have the ability to Overlock, by loosening timings and increasing voltage. However, if you raise it too far it can fry them!.
If you can give me the model number of the 667 ones, I can tell you if they will work at 800mhz.
