Question Overclocking monitor refresh rate?

I have a Samsung S24D330 and I tried going into amd video settings and creating a custom resolutions with 75hz
it worked,and when I changed it in windows to 75hz,nothing happened
could it damage my monitor?
or reduce it's life?

I couldn't even get the AMD custom resolution to work (Older monitor). Try using Custom Resolution utility. Quick google search will result in an easy to understand video guide (the process is very simple.) Follow that and see if that helps.
