Hi all, I am very new to this forum, and computers in general, so please go easy on me!
This is my rig:
ASUS H61M-A/USB3 LGA 1155 Intel H61 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI
Intel i5 3570k
EVGA GTX 760 SC w/ACX Cooling
Rosewill Stallion Series RD700 700W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply
Cooler Master HAF 912
I primarily game. Battlefield 4, Ghosts, AC: Black Flag, and others of the kind. I would like to be able to hit 60 fps + on max settings and my current setup isn't really doing the trick. My questions are.
1. Is the GTX 780 a good card
2. Which is the better option? Getting just the 780, getting a new motherboard, a new cooler (possibly the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo) and OC'ing my processor, or doing both. I understand my motherboard isn't currently capable of OC'ing so I was wondering if the ASrock z77 extreme 4 would be a good MOBO for me.
3. Will my current setup bottleneck the 780?
4. Could someone reference me to a guide on how to best OC my CPU (voltage, ghz, heat, cooling, and how to do all of that)
Thank you!
