I currently own a 1090T black edition. I run it with a Gigabyte gtx 670 OC and a m4a89gtd pro usb3 motherboard. I have the hyper 212+ cooler on it as well. I need help overclocking my CPU more. Though it could be just the chip but I'd like to get it to at least 4.0ghz I currently get it stable at 3.8ghz but anything past that I crash every single time.
My temperatures are great so far though I would like lower when power playing games. Is there a way I can utilize my 212+ better? I know automatic should be the best but I wish the fan worked more on heavy load games as it sits around 50% even when my CPU hits 55c +.
Any suggestions or advice would be great!
