Hello everyone,as i said in the title i want to overclock my gpu;i know that this is not recommended to do in a laptop but i want to try it anyway. To overclock i'm using MSI Afterburner OCCT to test and GPU-z.The problem is that when i try to overclock and then test it sometimes after a few minutes my gpu startes to disconnect from the system not responding or even worse the entire system crashes giving me the blue screen with some errors in it...
I connected a second monitor to the laptop with HDMI wire (if this can help) and i'm using an universal PSU made by Trust Input 100/240v 60/50Hz Output 15/16/19,5v the temperature during the test was absolutelly normal it was between 55/70 degrees with a core clock of 790Mhz (normal is 775) Why is it doing this?
By the way sorry if my english looks terrible but it's not my mother language.

I'm trying to take a little boost with games... i tested my overclocked gpu on some games and it performs quite better,i don't want to push my gpu to the limit but just overclock it a little bit.Can you tell me more about the problem with the chips? I saw some people on the internet that overclocked this card without problems...

There are many variables that affect overclocking in laptops. Every laptop is different. Cooling, power delivery, RAM type/speed, VRAM, software -- all could have a significant role in what you can achieve by overclocking.
If things crashed, it's because you pushed something past its limit.

I overclocked my GPU to 1160MHz Memory ...i get 19-22 FPS in Lords Of The Fallen all Medium... without overclock i get 12-14 ..no problems or glitches till now ...Win 10 PRO x64 ...I3 2.6 ..4gb ram
