Overclocking my FX-8350

I got my CPU up to 4.8 GHz and I've been running prime95 to make sure it's not failing. I've noticed that as soon as my CPU hits 52c-54c my usage will drop from 90% to about 68% and jump around a bunch in between. Is there any way to get it to not throttle itself until a higher temperature? Nothing crazy, I just feel like that's kinda low.

by the sounds of it no, but the Processor running on max should stay on 90%+ usage if running Prime95 putting it under max pressure. It could be due to your overclock, which may cause a disturbance in usage.

Your CPU can be sage under 70 degrees, though it doesn't explain why it is hitting 52-54 degrees max.

What is your CPU cooler and CPU voltage?
