I am considering a new purchase, the AsRock z170 pro4 motherboard alongside a Skylake 6400.

Apparently these are supposed to be overclockable by adjusting the BLCK multiplier.

I was just hoping to read some confirmation of this strategy from someone else using any of AsRock's latest z170 motherboards.

Can't confirm it personally, but it looks that way. http://overclocking.guide/asrock-z170-non-k-overclocking-guide/
But for non-k overclocking, you're adjusting the BCLK, not the multiplier.
