hey there well i recently built a new gaming pc. here is my setup:
msi z97 gaming 5
i7-4770k @4.0ghz (on msi oc genie)
psu silverstone 600w
1tb hd
samsung 840 evo seris 120gb ssd (for boot drive only)
cool master HAF case
thermal take single radiator cpu water cooler 3.0
8gb of ram.
ok so yesterday i tried oc my cpu aat 4.2ghz. it worked fine until i got to prime 95 stress test.once i got all cores working in blue screened. My pc is fine. Im new to overclock and the reason why i built this gaming pc is for performance. I want the best out of my cpu. Im going to be buying the corsair h100i dual raidiator soon. So does anyone have any youtube links or tutorials on OC for basic beginers? I cant find one that has the new msi z97 chipset tutorial.
