[SOLVED] overclocking nvidia geforce gt 220

hello. I oc my geforce gt 220,550 mhz core clock to 620 mhz and 535 mhz memory clock to 615mhz using afterburner. my pc start crashing when I go further more.any tips that I can oc more?

Hey there,

Not really any more tips. You are lucky to get 70mhz increase on the clock at all.

Those cards aren't designed to OC, and come with very basic cooling. There is no point in pushing that card beyond 620mhz. It will not make any difference to your games really.

Anyway, when you PC starts crashing it points that the OC is not stable. Lower the clockspeed until it stops crashing. That's your limit.

Ok Thanks for you respond!I just think that it can give me more mhz cuz I see youtube videos adding 100mhz both mem and core clock on their geforce gt 220.
