[SOLVED] Overclocking on intel DH55TC mobo?

Hey everyone, quick question. Is it possible to overclock an i7-860 on Intel's DH55TC motherboard or are the VRMs not good enough?
If so, can I get some help me in doing that? I want as high of an overclock as I can get. Or as much as my cooler can handle.

The i7-875K 4C/8T is an unlocked CPU. The i5-655K is 2C/4T and unlocked also.
Throttlestop software can control Volatge and multiplier on those.

Probably the best chance for a high OC.
Here's an OC tutorialfor that MB. But w/o the Voltage control the unlocked CPUs provide 10% is about it.

It's possible that added cooling, and heatsinks on the VRM MOSFETs may allow more. Not sure.

That board only has options to change the FSB which will get you some OC. IIRC, 3.5GHz was fairly common provided your other components were up to the task, such as the ram.

Ram is a weird situation. They’re pretty much all different brands. I’m either going with 4x2gb or 2x2gb + 2x4gb, again, all mixed brands but sharing the speed of 1333MHz.
A question on that too, is it okay to mix ram where with one stick the memory modules are on both sides and the other the modules are only on one side?

My cooling situation is 2 fans in the front and one in the back, but I have a solid front panel. I’m very temperature conscious so do you think that’d be enough to keep the MB cool?

Very few people have tried the Throttlestop the unlocked CPU overclock method. Throttlestop does have a temperature display, and load test function. It's free so no cost to try it . When you overclock temperature goes up, when you raise the Voltage to overclock more, temperature goes up again. There is a whole world of aftermatket cooling solutions. But every computer is different.
