i have i5 4690k with cm hyper 212 x .. my old mobo asus z87-pro is out of order .

how much value will i get if i overclock it on
msi z97 gaming 3 and 5 ? will there be huge difference in the value of the OC . the price difference among them is $35 -$40 (in my country). I heard gaming 5 is better . but will the extra $40 really worth it ?

The MSI Z97 GAMING 5 is great for your setup and overclocking, I would spend the extra $40.

Note: Your power supply is a little on the weaker side and may cause issues when overclocking.

yup .. i was thinking to change it seasonic s12 620w or higher watt if i were to go gaming 5 as SLI is supported ....
So msi gaming 5 is kinda product great difference in case of oc ?

A Seasonic Platinum series and X series at 600+ watts would work fine, as well as the EVGA Supernova series.
